Located in Foxburg, PA and founded in 1887, Foxburg Country Club has been deemed a National Historic Landmark.
The Fownes Foundation provided funds to the Club to purchase plaques to place in various locations around the Clubhouse and grounds, including the original 5 holes, to highlight the significance this course has played in the history of golf.
